Hot Aisle Containment (HAC)

SWDP’s ADVANCED AISLE™ HAC Vertical Containment systems offer cost-efficient and best-in-class solutions for positive air separation that funnels hot air back to the cooling units. Site friendly and easy to implement, ADVANCED AISLE™ products are easily customizable to fit any need.

Cold Aisle Containment (CAC)

Our Cabinet or Structure Mounted CAC Drop Out Ceiling Panels and In-Row Rack Blocking Panels combine to contain cold air and direct it to the front of your equipment rows. Constructed of lightweight, fire-rated materials approved for installation below fire sprinklers, these easy-to-install panels can span any aisle width, are modularly designed to scale as rows are added, and seamlessly integrate with our End-of-Row Door Systems.

SLANT-CAP® CAC SYSTEM

Combine SWDP’s ADVANCED AISLE™ Slant-Cap System with our End-of-Row Doors to create an exceptional,
re-configurable cold-aisle airflow system that prevents hot/cold air mixture even when full-aisle seals
and coverage are unavailable.

ADVANCED AISLE™
ACTIVE-CAP® Containment System

SWDP’s ADVANCED AISLE™ Active-Cap® Containment System completely opens when the building system
detects fire, therefore exposing the entire aisle to fire suppression. The system is fully resettable upon
the end of the event and/or testing.
KEY FEATURES
  • Automatic Opening Roof Panels allow sprinkler coverage in the aisle upon building fire or smoke system activation
  • No need for sprinkler or other fire suppression penetrations in CAC
  • NFPA 75 compliance
  • Incorporates electromagnets to hold the panels closed until the building fire system activates and power is removed
  • DC24V powered
  • UL Approved, ASTM-E-84 Class A Certified
  • No interference with aisle exits or headroom
